News Feed:A. Ryan Robbins of ycopfiles.com publishes several different news feeds. A news feed is a small file, often in atom, rss, or xml format, designed to be read by a stand-alone desktop feed reader program, a specific news feed web site, or some Internet browsers and e-mail clients. Publishers sometimes create this file manually, but usually computers make it automatically. A news feed is designed to alert you to updates on the web site you've subscribed to. How do you subscribe to a news feed? Simply copy the url of the specific news feed you wish to subscribe to for free and paste it into your stand-alone desktop feed reader program, or the appropriate spot on the specific news feed web site you wish to use to view it with. Unless your web browser recognizes the file, simply clicking on a news feed link will lead to a fairly unattractive and confusing web page. In addition to the following news feeds published by A. Ryan Robbins of ycopfiles.com, he also has several site maps to better help you to find your way around his site as well. Once a web master has updated the site, the news feed will show you what's new and give you the option to go directly to that new page. This reduces the need to constantly check a web site to see if it has any new content, and allows you to explore further anything new that interests you. To unsubscribe from a specific free news feed, simply remove that feed's url from either your desktop feed reader program or news feed web site. All updates from that web site will then cease.
